Notes from a Solitary Artist: The Price of Authenticity to Self
Photography is a transformation, a dissolving of self into light and shadow. Often, I am there but not there, present, yet drifting beyond the frame.
My career has taught me to surrender to these pockets of stillness, to lose myself in the process but never in a world desperate to shape me into something I am not. The world can be indifferent, the art world even harsher, and being true to yourself sometimes comes at the cost of rejection.
